Dodson Brothers Bring Energy and Excitement to BKFC 62 in Hollywood, Florida

Hollywood, FL – The atmosphere was on fire at the weigh-ins for BKFC 62, held in Hollywood, Florida this past Thursday. Among the fighters generating buzz were the famous Dodson brothers, John and Eric Dodson, who were eager to share their thoughts and predictions ahead of the event. BigFace, Knuckletown’s dynamic host, caught up with the brothers for an exclusive interview that showcased their excitement and confidence.

As the weigh-ins kicked off, BigFace caught up with the Dodson brothers to gauge the pre-fight energy. “Welcome to Knuckletown. It’s your boy, BigFace. I’m here with the famous Dodson brothers. World champ. Maybe soon to be world champ. How you guys feeling tonight?” BigFace began.

Eric Dodson, brimming with enthusiasm, responded, “The energy here is just off the charts, man. I’ve never been to a venue so big. And I want to keep growing the sport. I want to do my part to help elevate everything in the game. So I’m glad we’re here early. We’re going to put on a show. The card itself is stacked. It doesn’t look like it’s lopsided on either side. All these fights are going to be bangers. I hope you guys tune in.”

Despite Eric’s unfortunate loss the following day, his passion for the sport and dedication to its growth were evident in his words and demeanor. His commitment to putting on a show and contributing to the sport’s elevation was clear as he looked forward to an intense fight night.

Both brothers looked ready and confident, with BigFace noting their relaxed demeanor. “Yeah. Both of you guys look great right here in the weigh-ins, man. You look really loose, man. You seem like you’re gonna have a good time. Any prediction for the fight or how you feel it may go, man?” BigFace inquired.

Eric confidently predicted, “We always look for a shorter fight, so hopefully a little bit more extra work puts us right in line for the belt. So honestly, I’m expecting to throw down, get an early exit, and then go ahead and cash that check, baby.”

The focus then shifted to the reigning champ, John Dodson, whose recent performances have been nothing short of spectacular. BigFace asked John about his future plans, given his dominant display in the ring. “While we got the champ here, when we last saw you, champ, you were whipping the hell out of somebody named Mr. Ridge. It seemed like no one has even challenged you. Your speed is unmatched at that weight class. Who do you want to see next, champ? Do you have anybody in mind?”

John revealed an exciting development, saying, “Well, I’m actually fighting out in Tokyo, Japan for the BKFC, out in Rizin, so they’re going to send me out there to go ahead and do a non-title bout. Making sure July 29th is the day that I’m going to go ahead and wreck somebody’s face and introduce the BKFC to Japan.”

John’s announcement added a global dimension to his already illustrious career, as he prepared to showcase his skills on an international stage. His upcoming fight in Japan under the Rizin banner is set to further elevate the BKFC’s presence worldwide.

The Dodson brothers’ presence at BKFC 62 not only hyped up the crowd but also underscored their commitment to the sport. Eric’s enthusiasm and John’s upcoming international bout are sure to keep fans engaged and excited for what’s next in the world of bare-knuckle fighting.

Stay tuned for more updates and highlights from BKFC 62 and beyond, as the Dodson brothers continue to make waves in the combat sports arena.
